If you decide not to choose our marine insurance, we would strongly recommend that you take out a policy of some kind with your own insurer. However it is a speciality area and not all insures will underwrite yachts.
  • When considering marine insurance, keep in mind that there are many different organisations involved in handling your boat, such as stevedores, depots, trucking companies, and other parties that maybe legally protected against many claims. Even if they are liable, often maritime clauses will offer little compensation, and certainly a lot less than the value of your boat.
